Spongia Tosta is a homeopathic remedy prepared from toasted sea sponge. It is a premier remedy for respiratory affections, particularly dry, croupy coughs and suffocative breathing. It is also used for heart conditions and glandular swellings.
Keynotes
Dry, barking, sawing cough like a saw going through wood. Sensation of a plug or splinter in the throat. Cough worse from talking, singing, or cold air.
Constitution
Often fair-haired, light-complexioned children or adults with a tendency to glandular and respiratory issues. Anxious, apprehensive temperament.
